Definitions & Service Modifications

‘Service’ refers to the cleaning services provided by Vancity Cleaning Services. ‘Client’ refers to the individual(s) or an entity that requests or receives services from Vancity Cleaning Service.

‘Site’ refers to the website and terms such as ‘We, Our, Us,’ will refer to Vancity Cleaning Service, and/or its staff/team./employees.

Vancity Cleaning Services reserves the right to without notice, modify or discontinue any service at any time, permanently or temporarily. You consent that We will not be liable towards you or to any of the third parties for modification, discontinuation, or suspension of the Service.

Cancellation Policy

Vancity Cleaning Services recognizes scenarios wherein a client may postpone or cancel a cleaning appointment. Please use our email info@vancitycleaningservice.com or call +(604) 906 7195 to inform us about canceling the appointment.

We request you kindly make any cancellations at or before 48 hours prior to the planned date. A delayed cancellation notice may result in a 50% cancellation fee for the deal. A failure to provide a notice of cancellation will require full and complete payment.

Customer Satisfaction

If you find yourself not completely satisfied with the cleaning results, please call our team within 24 hours of the job completion. Our team will re-arrive at the job location within 48 hours and re-clean the subject area(s).

(Complaints that are reported after 48 from appointment completion will not be honored whatsoever)

Safety Information

The health, safety, and well-being of our employees hold paramount importance for us. All our employees are informed and trained to not touch/clean/wipe areas and/or items that may be unsanitary or unsafe. Thus, we won’t clean human or pet feces, urine, vomit, blood, and the like for sanitary reasons.

Lifting

We regard our employees’ safety as an equally high priority as the cleaning job, and we are determined to maintain their safety. Hence, the use of tall ladders or moving anything weighing more than 50 lbs is non-applicable and non-negotiable. Such acts could put the safety and the health of our team at risk and may also damage something at your home.

Should you require us to clean behind appliances and below heavy furniture, please move them prior to the appointment visit time to allow uninhibited access for cleaning.

Use of Pictures

Our team may take pictures of the ‘before’ and ‘after’ of areas we are asked to clean. Please be informed, that these pictures will be used only for training and internal documentation purposes, and will not be posted online or published in any form publicly.

Appointment Times

If you desire to be present at the cleaning site during the appointment hours, please be aware the arrival window extends only up to an hour. Our schedules can be affected by various factors, like cancellations, lockouts, etc. If our team may be running late for the appointment, you will be contacted by us as soon as possible with the expected arrival time.

Lockouts & Non- Appearances

If our cleaner(s) fail to arrive at the premises within one hour of Service Time and does not offer the requested service, Vancity Cleaning Services may provide the customer with either a full refund of their payment(s) or reschedule the Service at another timeline which is mutually agreed between the parties i.e. customer and Vancity Cleaning Services.

Payments Policy

We accept commonly accessible modes of payment, including but not limited to cash, e-transfer, and major credit cards. All payments will be due at the time of completion of each appointment(s). We reserve the right to discontinue any services for lack of payment.

Refunds

Cleaning is a subjective and personalized service. Thus, refunds will not be entertained to customers whatsoever.

Mobile Opt-In

By providing your contact details to Vancity Cleaning Services, you agree and acknowledge that we will send text messages to your phone number for purposes including and beyond service and marketing.

Privacy Policy

Customer(s) acknowledge any information shared with the site and Vancity Cleaning Services can be used for providing the service. Vancity Cleaning Services strives for non-disclosure of customer information to third parties not directly concerned with the provision of the service (unless mandated by the law). The customer agrees to Vancity Cleaning Services contacting them electronically and via other means to provide service according to its provision.

We reserve the right to deny the cleaning job when a) the labor is deemed to be greater than the Work Order confirmed during booking, b) a safety hazard is concerned on your property concerning items above that we do not clean, c) abuse is performed by the client, representative of the client, towards our staff or company, d) harassment is committed to our staff by following, micromanaging their activities, stalking their back and disrespecting them by causing stress. We are displeased with such unfortunate circumstances, yet upon the job rejection, a cancellation fee will be charged all the same.

Indemnification and Governing Law

You agree to defend, hold harmless, and indemnify Vancity Cleaning Services and its associated subsidiaries, agents, licensors, and other affiliated companies, and their workforce, from and against any and all claims/damages/obligations/losses/liabilities/costs or debt/and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from (i) your use of and access to the Service, including any data or content transmitted or received by you; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation(s) any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party. This defense and indemnification obligation will survive these Terms and your use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed per the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
